Everybody loves a quiz – so here’s one on integer maths in C. I got 10/20 fully correct (i.e. ignoring the ‘partial credits’) – which isn’t too brilliant.

NB: WordPress won’t let me tag this as ‘C’, hence ‘C++’

Maybe I am not very good, but it took me two goes to get up to 5/6 correct answers on this multiple choice quiz on the Newton-Raphson method. The one I still have not got right is the first one.

- Newton-Raphson method (cartesianproduct.wordpress.com)
- Newton, complex polynomials and beautiful images (ubpdqnmathematica.wordpress.com)
- Top head¿s support for multiple choice tests which he says are harder than those with short written questions (dailymail.co.uk)
- Multiple choice is key to raising exam standards, says leading head (thetimes.co.uk)
