So, I can boot Plan 9 on the Raspberry Pi but I cannot get the keyboard or the mouse to work, which seems to be a reasonably common problem. Seems the kernel is still pretty experimental at the moment. (NB I am using the 7 December kernel too, so that fix is not working for me.)

Richard Miller has fixed some keyboard and mouse issues with a new release of Plan 9 for the RaspberryPi.
Thanks, it turned out this was a power issue – the machine would boot but it didn’t have enough power to drive the keyboard or the mouse. A bit odd as I was using a powered USB hub. But when I stopped using the hub both the mouse (after some boot command line fiddling) and the keyboard would work.
