The truth about Facebook’s IPO

If you were greedy and stupid enough to believe that valuation then you probably deserve to get burnt, and badly.

The whole thing had “bubble” written all over it.

One response to “The truth about Facebook’s IPO”

  1. I don’t have a Facebook account. I detest what it is doing to privacy and I hate its walled garden.

Yet those are the very things that make it potentially quite valuable. It has a defensible monopoly on something quite valuable. Think of it as an enclosure of the internet.

So before and after the IPO, I have no idea how to value it.
