Maybe I am not very good, but it took me two goes to get up to 5/6 correct answers on this multiple choice quiz on the Newton-Raphson method. The one I still have not got right is the first one.

IMHO the terminology in the first one is not standard. I got it by elimination (two choices are clearly wrong; I assumed that by “graphical” they meant literally done on a graph, as opposed to geometrically motivated).
