I know in recalling Steve Jobs most people are likely to focus on the iPhone and the iPad, the two devices which made Apple world leaders. The iMac – the machine which saved Apple from destruction – and even the revolutionary Macintosh are not going to get much of a show.
But my favourite Apple device is the Apple II – not that I ever owned one.
My brother and I used to lust for them down at Comp Shop on Station Road, New Barnet. A compact colour computer with a ‘proper’ keyboard. What more could anyone want?
