Itsy-OS kernel: who needs memory protection anyway?

I have to say I love this little piece of code – a 380 byte “operating system kernel” for the Intel 8086. Actually just a task switcher and close to the simplest memory management imaginable. But if you had a device that you could be happy just to switch on and off if and when something crashes, this could even be useful.
